WEEE directive

WEEE Take-back: Nikon UK, Branch of Nikon Europe BV, will take back your WEEE on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis, free of charge. If you have purchased a camera from us please contact our customer support line to arrange a return of WEEE equipment for recycling.
WEEE and waste batteries can also be returned to your local civic amenity site free of charge. The following link will show you how to find the civic amenity site closest to you where you can recycle your WEEE, batteries and light bulbs: www.weeeireland.ie/household-recycling/where-can-i-recycle. Never put WEEE, batteries or light bulbs in any of your bins.

Battery Take-back: Empty batteries can be returned to the following address:
Nikon Service Centre, 1 The Crescent, Surbiton KT6 4BN, United Kingdom

WEEE Marking: All Nikon products that are subject to the WEEE Directive shipped from 13th August 2005 are compliant with the WEEE marking requirements. Such products are marked with the “crossed out wheelie bin” or WEEE symbol shown below in accordance with European Standard EN 50419.

Information for Users: This product is required to comply with European Union’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive 2012/19/EU.
It is marked with the following symbol:



This symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that this product is not to be disposed of with household waste, according to the WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU) and your national law. This product should be handed over to a designated collection point or to an authorized collection site for recycling Waste and Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
